Turn left onto Capital Avenue and continue walking for approximately 0.3 miles. You will see the Kentucky State Capitol building on your right. Keep walking straight, and after another 0.2 miles, you will reach the Kentucky State Mound, which is located at the address Frankfort, KY 40601. Look for the sign for the mound as you approach.

    Public Transportation

    Start at the nearest bus stop, which is located at the Frankfort Transit Center. Take the Blue Route bus towards the Kentucky State Capitol. Ride for about 10 minutes and get off at the stop closest to the Capitol. From there, exit the bus and walk south on Capital Avenue. Continue for about 0.2 miles, and you will find the Kentucky State Mound located at Frankfort, KY 40601.

    If you are renting a bike, start at the Kentucky State Capitol building. Head east on Capital Avenue, then turn left onto East Main Street. Follow East Main Street for approximately 0.5 miles.
