    Start at the Kentucky State Capitol building located at 700 Capitol Ave, Frankfort, KY 40601. Head east on Capitol Ave toward Sower Blvd, then turn right onto Sower Blvd. Continue straight until you reach the intersection with US-60 E (Louisville Rd). Cross US-60 E at the traffic light and continue onto E Main St. Follow E Main St as it curves left and becomes W Main St. After several blocks, turn right onto US-421 S (Bourbon Rd). Walk along US-421 S for approximately 1.5 miles until you reach the intersection with Jones Ln. Turn left onto Jones Ln and walk for about 0.5 miles. Switzer Covered Bridge will be on your right at 3392 Jones Ln.

    Public Transportation

    Begin at the Frankfort Transit Center located at 1000 Leestown Rd, Frankfort, KY 40601. Board the Route 1 bus heading toward downtown Frankfort. Disembark at the stop nearest to the intersection of US-60 E and E Main St. From there, walk east down E Main St until you reach the intersection with US-421 S (Bourbon Rd). Turn right onto US-421 S and walk for about 1.5 miles. At the intersection with Jones Ln, turn left and walk for about 0.5 miles until you see Switzer Covered Bridge on your right at 3392 Jones Ln.
