Getting There

• Car

  From any location in Inner Bluegrass, head southeast on US-27 S. Follow US-27 S for approximately 30 miles until you reach the junction with KY-15 S. Turn right onto KY-15 S and continue for about 15 miles. Look for the signs directing you to the Red River Gorge Geological Area. After approximately 5 miles, turn left onto KY-77 S. Continue for about 5 miles, and you will arrive at the entrance to Red River Gorge. Note that there might be parking fees, so be prepared for a small cost.

  To reach Red River Gorge via public transportation, take a Greyhound or a regional bus from Inner Bluegrass to Stanton, KY. Upon arrival in Stanton, you will need to arrange for a taxi or rideshare service to cover the final 10 miles to Red River Gorge, as public transit options are limited in this area.
