To reach the American Saddlebred Museum from downtown Lexington, you can take the Lextran bus. Head to the Lextran Transit Center located at 200 West Vine Street. From there, take the Route 12 bus towards the Bluegrass Airport. Stay on the bus for about 25 minutes and get off at the stop for 'Newtown Pike @ Wing Commander Way.' From the bus stop, walk approximately 0.5 miles northeast on Wing Commander Way, and you will find the museum at 4083 Wing Commander Way Suite 150.
Bicycle
If you prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike-sharing programs available in Lexington. Start from downtown and head north on Main Street until you reach Newtown Pike. Turn left onto Newtown Pike and continue for about 1 mile. Then, turn right onto Wing Commander Way. The museum will be on your right at 4083 Wing Commander Way Suite 150, which is about 2 miles from downtown.
Walking
For those who want to walk, start from downtown Lexington at the intersection of Main Street and Broadway. Head north on Broadway until you reach Newtown Pike. Turn right onto Newtown Pike and walk about 1 mile. Next, turn right onto Wing Commander Way and continue walking for another 0.5 miles. The American Saddlebred Museum will be on your right at 4083 Wing Commander Way Suite 150.
