Bus
From downtown Lexington, walk to the Lextran Transit Center located at 200 W Vine St. Take the Route 10 bus towards Danville. The bus will take you directly to Danville. Once you arrive at the Danville bus station, exit the bus and walk east on E Walnut St for about 0.3 miles. The Constitution Square Historic Site will be on your left at 105 E Walnut St.
Taxi or Rideshare
Open a rideshare app like Uber or Lyft on your smartphone. Enter 'Constitution Square Historic Site, 105 E Walnut St, Danville, KY 40422' as your destination. The driver will pick you up from your current location in Lexington and take you directly to the site. The journey will take approximately 40-50 minutes depending on traffic.
Bicycle
If you are comfortable biking, you can rent a bike from one of the local bike-share services in Lexington. Start from downtown Lexington and head south on S Limestone St. Continue onto US-27 S, which will take you directly towards Danville. The bike ride is approximately 30 miles and may take around 2-3 hours, depending on your pace. Once you reach Danville, follow E Walnut St until you arrive at the Constitution Square Historic Site.
Walking
This option is not practical due to the distance (approximately 30 miles), but if you are adventurous and want to experience the local scenery, you could walk south towards Danville. Start from a central location in Lexington, head south on S Limestone St, and continue onto US-27 S. Note that this will take several hours (8-10 hours) and is only recommended for experienced walkers. Make sure to wear comfortable shoes and stay hydrated.
