If you're near downtown Louisville, start by making your way to the nearest bus stop. Take the TARC (Transit Authority of River City) Bus #2 towards 'UofL/Chestnut St.' or Bus #23 towards 'Butchertown.' Get off at the 'Washington St & Clay St' stop. From there, walk east on Washington Street for about 5 minutes. The Thomas Edison House will be on your left at 729 E Washington St.

If you're staying in the Butchertown area, head to Washington Street. Walk east along Washington Street. The Thomas Edison House is located at 729 E Washington St. It's about a 10-minute walk from the heart of Butchertown. Look for the house on your left side.
Bicycle
For those who prefer cycling, you can rent a bike from one of the bike-sharing stations available in downtown Louisville. Start by heading east on Main Street, then turn south on N Brook St. Continue until you reach Washington St. Turn right on Washington St, and the Thomas Edison House will be on your left at 729 E Washington St. The ride should take about 15 minutes from downtown.
