Car
If you are traveling by car within Mammoth Cave National Park, start by heading toward the Mammoth Cave Visitor Center. From the Visitor Center, take the road leading out of the park and turn left onto Mammoth Cave Parkway (KY-70). Continue on Mammoth Cave Parkway for approximately 3.5 miles. Diamond Caverns will be on your right at 1900 Mammoth Cave Pkwy, Park City, KY 42160. Look for the entrance signage as you approach.
Public Transportation
Currently, there is no direct public transportation available from within Mammoth Cave National Park to Diamond Caverns. If you do not have access to a car, consider using a rideshare service such as Uber or Lyft. You can request a ride from the Mammoth Cave Visitor Center to Diamond Caverns. The estimated distance is about 3.5 miles, and the cost will depend on the time of day and demand, but it is generally around $10-$15.
Walking
If you are feeling adventurous and the weather permits, you can walk from the Mammoth Cave Visitor Center to Diamond Caverns. It is approximately a 3.5-mile walk along Mammoth Cave Parkway.
