Walking
If you are starting from the Newport Aquarium, head east on E 3rd St toward the Ohio River. Continue straight until you reach the riverfront. From there, turn left and walk along the river until you see the entrance to the Purple People Bridge, which is located at 1 Levee Way. The bridge is well marked and you will see signs directing you towards it.

Public Transit (Bus)
If you are starting from the Newport city center, take bus route 1 or 10 from the Newport Transit Center. Get off at the stop at 4th St and Monmouth St. From there, walk south on Monmouth St until you reach E 3rd St. Turn left on E 3rd St and walk toward the Ohio River. Once you reach the riverfront, turn left and continue walking until you see the Purple People Bridge entrance.

If you are renting a bike, start from the Newport city center and head south on Monmouth St. Once you reach the riverfront, you can bike along the path toward the Purple People Bridge. The bridge is located at 1 Levee Way, and there is a bike rack available at the entrance for you to secure your bicycle.
