Getting There

• Car

  If you are driving from the center of Outer Bluegrass, start by heading southeast on Main St toward US-60 E. Merge onto US-60 E and continue for about 5 miles. Take the exit toward I-75 S and merge onto I-75 S. After approximately 5 miles, take exit 115 for Newtown Pike toward Lexington. Follow Newtown Pike for 3 miles, then turn left onto Tates Creek Rd. Talon Winery & Vineyards will be on your right at 7086 Tates Creek Rd, Lexington, KY 40515. Note that parking is available on-site.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Talon Winery & Vineyards by public transportation, you can take the Lextran bus route 12 from downtown Lexington. Board the bus at the Transit Center and ride until you reach the stop at Tates Creek Rd and Man O' War Blvd, which is about a 30-minute ride. From there, it’s a 10-15 minute walk along Tates Creek Rd heading south until you reach Talon Winery & Vineyards at 7086 Tates Creek Rd. Please check the Lextran schedule for the latest bus times and plan accordingly.

• Bicycle

  For those who prefer biking, you can take the Legacy Trail which runs from downtown Lexington to the area around Tates Creek Rd. Once you reach Tates Creek Rd, head south for about 3 miles until you arrive at Talon Winery & Vineyards at 7086 Tates Creek Rd. Ensure your bike is equipped with lights if you plan to ride in the evening, as this road may not have dedicated bike lanes.
