If you are driving from any location in Outer Bluegrass, start by getting onto I-64 E from your current location. Follow I-64 E for about 10 miles. Take exit 10B for I-65 S toward Nashville. Continue on I-65 S for approximately 3 miles. Take exit 136B for Broadway/US-31W toward the downtown area. Merge onto Broadway and continue for about 1 mile. Turn left onto Frankfort Ave. After about 0.5 miles, you will see the Waterfront Botanical Gardens on your right at 1435 Frankfort Ave, Louisville, KY 40206. Parking is available on-site.

Check the TARC website or app for the bus routes that serve your area. You'll likely need to take a bus that goes towards downtown Louisville. Once in downtown, transfer to Bus Route 23 (Frankfort Ave) which will take you directly to Frankfort Ave. Get off at the stop closest to 1435 Frankfort Ave. From there, the gardens are within a short walking distance.
