Getting There

• Walking

  If you are in downtown Owensboro, start at the Owensboro Convention Center located at 501 West 2nd Street. Head south on 2nd Street until you reach the intersection with Frederica Street. Turn left onto Frederica Street and continue walking for about 0.5 miles. At the intersection with 4th Street, turn right. Walk for another block until you reach the intersection with Bluff Avenue. Turn left onto Bluff Avenue and walk for about 0.3 miles. Chautauqua Park will be on your right at 1301 Bluff Ave.

• Public Transportation

  If you prefer public transportation, check the local bus service, Owensboro Transit System, for routes that head toward Bluff Avenue. You can board the bus at various stops in Owensboro. Ask the driver for the closest stop to Chautauqua Park or look for a stop near the intersection of Bluff Avenue and 4th Street. Once you get off, walk a short distance south along Bluff Avenue for about 0.1 miles, and you will arrive at Chautauqua Park at 1301 Bluff Ave.

  For those who enjoy biking, start at the Greenbelt Park which is a popular biking location in Owensboro. Head south on the bike trail until you reach the intersection with 2nd Street. Turn right and continue until you reach Frederica Street. Turn left on Frederica and bike about 0.5 miles until you reach 4th Street. Turn right and continue for another block to Bluff Avenue. Turn left and bike for about 0.3 miles to Chautauqua Park located at 1301 Bluff Ave.
