Car
If you are traveling by car, start on the Sheltowee Trace National Recreation Trail. If you are coming from the north, take US-25S heading towards London, KY. After approximately 20 miles, take the exit for I-75S toward Knoxville. Continue on I-75S for about 12 miles, then take exit 38 for KY-30 toward East Bernstadt. Turn left onto KY-30E and follow it for about 5 miles. When you reach East Bernstadt, turn right onto River Hill Church Rd. Continue down River Hill Church Rd for about 1 mile until you reach Camp Kugra at 999 River Hill Church Rd, East Bernstadt, KY 40729.
Public Transportation
If you are using public transportation, your best option is to take a Greyhound bus or a local transit service to London, KY. From London, you will need to arrange a taxi or rideshare service to East Bernstadt. Ensure to pre-book your taxi as public transport options may be limited. Once in East Bernstadt, ask the driver to take you to 999 River Hill Church Rd, which is the location of Camp Kugra. Be aware that taxi fares can vary, so confirm the cost beforehand.
Bicycle
For those adventurous enough to cycle, you can bike from the Sheltowee Trace Trail. Depending on your starting point, make your way to KY-30E and follow it into East Bernstadt. Once you reach East Bernstadt, turn onto River Hill Church Rd. Please ensure you are equipped with a proper map or GPS, as the roads can be winding and rural. Remember to wear a helmet and be cautious of traffic.
