If you are driving, start from the nearest town in Aberdare Range, such as Ndaragwa. Head northwest on the Ndaragwa-Kiriani Road, which will transition into the Kiriaini-Rware Road. Follow the signs toward Aberdare National Park. The entrance to the park is located at Rware, Ndaragwa. Drive carefully as the roads can be winding and narrow. Ensure you have a 4WD vehicle if you plan on venturing into the park deeper.

If you are using public transportation, take a matatu (shared taxi) from Ndaragwa to Nyeri town. Once in Nyeri, look for another matatu heading to Rware. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the Aberdare National Park entrance. The fare for the matatu from Ndaragwa to Nyeri is approximately 150 KES, and from Nyeri to Rware, it should be around 100 KES.
