After approximately 30-40 minutes of cycling, you will reach the entrance to Kisite Mpunguti Marine National Park located at Majengo Shimoni. Ensure to check the opening hours, as the park opens at 6 AM and closes at 6 PM.

Public Transport (Matatu)
Walk to the nearest matatu stop in Diani Beach, usually located near major hotels or the main road. Board a matatu heading towards Shimoni. The ride will take about 30-45 minutes depending on traffic. Once you arrive in Shimoni, ask the driver to drop you off at the Kisite Marine Park entrance. The park is a short walk from the matatu drop-off point.

If you are up for a long walk, you can start from your accommodation in Diani Beach and head towards the main road. Walk south along the beach road until you reach the junction leading to Shimoni. Continue walking straight for about 15 kilometers. This will take approximately 3-4 hours, so prepare with plenty of water and sun protection. Once you reach Shimoni, ask locals for directions to the Kisite Mpunguti Marine National Park entrance.
