If you're staying in Diani Beach, consider renting a bicycle to explore the area. Start at your accommodation and head south along the Diani Beach Road. Continue riding until you reach the intersection with the Mombasa-Lunga Lunga Highway (A14). Turn left onto the highway and follow the signs to Shimoni. After approximately 15 kilometers, you will arrive at Shimoni. From there, you can hire a boat that will take you directly to Kisite Mpunguti Marine National Park & Reserve.

To reach Kisite Mpunguti Marine National Park & Reserve, head to Shimoni, which is about 15 kilometers south of Diani Beach. You can take a tuk-tuk or a local matatu (shared minibus) to Shimoni. Once in Shimoni, go to the Shimoni Jetty where several boat operators offer trips to the marine park. Ensure you book your boat ride in advance and confirm the schedule, as boats typically leave in the morning. The boat ride to the park takes about 30 minutes.
