Car
If you are driving from Nyeri Town, head northwest on Nyeri-Nyahururu Rd (A2) for about 20 kilometers. You will see signs for Subukia View Point. As you approach, keep an eye on the left side of the road for a clearly marked entrance to the viewpoint. The road is generally well-maintained but may have some potholes, so drive cautiously.
Public Transportation
To reach Subukia View Point by public transport, take a matatu (shared taxi) from Nyeri Town heading towards Nyahururu. The fare is typically around 100 KES (Kenyan Shillings). Inform the driver that you want to stop at Subukia View Point. You will need to ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest point to the viewpoint entrance, which is approximately 300 meters uphill. From there, follow the pathway to the viewpoint.
Walking
If you arrive at the entrance of the viewpoint, you will need to walk approximately 300 meters uphill to reach the actual viewpoint. The path is well-defined, but be prepared for a moderate incline. Wear comfortable shoes to make the walk enjoyable.
