If you are traveling by car, start your journey in Kabartonjo. From Kabartonjo town, head north on the A1 highway towards Eldoret for about 5 kilometers. Take the exit toward Kabarnet and continue for approximately 10 kilometers. Look for a sign indicating the turn to Emwai waterfall. Follow this road for about 2 kilometers until you reach the parking area near the waterfall. Note that the road may be unpaved in sections, so a 4x4 vehicle is advisable.

For those using public transportation, you can take a matatu (shared taxi) from Kabartonjo to Kabarnet. Once in Kabarnet, you may need to hire a motorcycle taxi (boda boda) to take you to Emwai waterfall. Make sure to negotiate the fare before starting your journey. The boda boda ride will take approximately 30 minutes, and you should expect to pay around 300-500 Kenyan Shillings depending on your negotiation skills. Ensure you have cash ready, as most boda boda operators do not accept cards.
