Getting There

  • Car

    If you are driving, start from the nearest major town, Naivasha. Head south on the A104 road towards Mai Mahiu. After about 30 kilometers, look for signs leading to Mai Mahiu and the Longonot View Point. Turn left onto the road leading to the viewpoint, which is about 5 kilometers from the main road. The viewpoint is located at XJMF+XGR, Escarpment. Parking is available at the viewpoint.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Mai Mahiu Longonot View Point by public transport, take a matatu (shared taxi) from Naivasha to Mai Mahiu. The fare is approximately 100-200 KES. Once you arrive in Mai Mahiu, you can either take a boda boda (motorcycle taxi) for about 300 KES or walk approximately 5 kilometers to the viewpoint. Make sure to negotiate the fare beforehand if using a boda boda.
