Car
If you are traveling by car, start from the center of Kerio Valley. Head towards the A104 road (Eldoret – Nakuru Road). Continue on this road for approximately 20 kilometers until you reach the junction for Nakuru. Turn left onto the A104 road towards Nakuru. After about 30 kilometers, look for the signs indicating Hyrax Hill Museum. Turn left at the sign and follow the road until you reach the museum at P4C4+45V, Nakuru.
Public Transportation
For those using public transport, you can take a matatu (shared taxi) from Kerio Valley to Nakuru. Once you arrive in Nakuru town, head to the central matatu stage. From there, you can catch a matatu heading towards Hyrax Hill. Inform the driver of your destination, as they will drop you off close to the museum. The matatu fare from Kerio Valley to Nakuru is approximately 200-300 KES, and from Nakuru to Hyrax Hill, it may be around 50-100 KES.
Walking
If you are near the museum and prefer walking, you can walk from the nearest matatu drop-off point. From the drop-off, head east on the road towards Nakuru. Follow the signs for Hyrax Hill Museum, which is located just a short distance away. Ensure you have comfortable walking shoes as the terrain may vary.
