Once you reach Mukumu, look for a sign indicating the turn-off to The Crying Stone, which is located at coordinates 0.2399903, 34.7551558. The turn-off will be on your right. Drive carefully down the dirt road for about 2 kilometers until you reach the parking area near the stone. Note that it's advisable to have a 4x4 vehicle due to the rough terrain.

    Public Transportation

    To reach The Crying Stone using public transport, first take a matatu (shared taxi) from Kerio Valley to Mukumu. The fare is usually around 200-300 KES. Once you arrive in Mukumu, you can either take a boda boda (motorbike taxi) for about 150 KES directly to The Crying Stone or walk the remaining 2 kilometers following the directions provided. The boda boda ride will save you time and is the most convenient option.
