Once you reach the main road, turn left and continue walking until you reach the junction with the Kisumu-Usenge Road. This is about a 15-20 minute walk depending on your starting point in Milimani.

  • Bicycle (if available)

    For a quicker journey, you can rent a bicycle from one of the local rental shops in Milimani. Head towards Kisumu-Kakamega Road (A1) as you would when walking. Cycling will take about 10 minutes to reach the junction with the Kisumu-Usenge Road. From there, continue straight for approximately 5 minutes to reach Hippo Point.

  • Boda Boda (motorcycle taxi)

    Another option is to take a Boda Boda. You can find them near the main road in Milimani. Simply tell the rider 'Hippo Point' and they will know where to take you. The ride should take about 10 minutes and typically costs around 100 to 200 Kenyan Shillings, depending on your starting point.
