If you're in Milimani, you can reach KWS-Kisumu Impala Sanctuary by walking. Start by heading towards the main road, Milimani Road. Walk south until you reach the intersection with Harambee Road. Turn left onto Harambee Road and continue walking straight. The sanctuary is located near Shauri Moyo Primary School, which is on your right. The entrance to the sanctuary is marked and should be visible from the road.

For those who prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from a local shop in Milimani. Start on Milimani Road heading south, then take a left onto Harambee Road. Continue cycling straight until you reach the area near Shauri Moyo Primary School. The sanctuary entrance is along this road. Make sure to wear a helmet and follow local traffic rules. Rental costs for bicycles typically range from 300-500 KES per day.

Motorbike Taxi (Boda Boda)
Another easy option is to take a motorbike taxi, commonly known as a boda boda. You can find them around Milimani. Simply tell the rider 'KWS-Kisumu Impala Sanctuary' or show them your phone with the location. The ride should take about 10-15 minutes and will cost around 100-200 KES, depending on your starting point. Always negotiate the fare before starting your ride.

You can also use a matatu (shared minibus) for a more local experience. From Milimani, walk to the nearest matatu stage. Look for a matatu heading towards Shauri Moyo.
