From the center of Kitale, start cycling on Kenyatta Street heading northwest. Continue straight until you reach the junction with the Kitale - Lodwar Road. Turn right onto the Kitale - Lodwar Road and cycle for about 10 kilometers. Keep an eye out for the Saiwa Swamp National Park sign on your left. Once you see the sign, take the dirt road that leads into the park. Follow this road to the park entrance.

If you prefer to walk, from the center of Kitale, make your way to Kenyatta Street and head northwest. Continue to the junction with the Kitale - Lodwar Road. Here, you will need to walk along the roadside heading towards the park. It is approximately a 10-kilometer walk, so ensure you have proper footwear and water. Look for the Saiwa Swamp National Park sign on your left, and take the dirt road into the park.

From Kitale town center, you can hire a Boda Boda (motorcycle taxi) to take you to Saiwa Swamp National Park. Tell the driver you want to go to Saiwa Swamp National Park. The ride will take about 20 minutes, and they will drop you off at the park entrance. Make sure to agree on the fare before starting your journey.
