Car
Start your journey from Kitui Plains by heading southwest towards Kitui town. After about 30 minutes of driving, you will reach the A109 road. Turn left onto A109 and continue driving for approximately 2 hours until you reach Nairobi. Once you arrive in Nairobi, follow signs towards Uhuru Gardens, which is located on Lang'ata Road. Look for signs indicating 'Uhuru Gardens' as you approach the city center. There is parking available at the gardens, but it may incur a small fee.
Public Transportation
From Kitui Plains, take a matatu (shared taxi) to Kitui town. The fare is usually around 100 KES. Upon reaching Kitui town, transfer to a matatu heading to Nairobi. The journey will take about 2 to 3 hours, and the fare is approximately 300 KES. Once you arrive at the Nairobi bus station, look for matatus or taxis that go to Uhuru Gardens. Inform the driver that you want to go to Uhuru Gardens, which is located on Lang'ata Road. Expect to pay an additional fare of about 50 KES for this leg of the journey.
