Getting There

• Car

  If you're traveling by car, start from the center of Lake Baringo. Head north on the main road (A104) towards Loruk. After approximately 20 kilometers, keep an eye out for a sign indicating Loruk town. As you approach Loruk, continue straight until you reach the intersection near the Loruk market. Turn left at the intersection and follow the road for about 5 kilometers. You will see the sign for Korosin Campsite at M2FH+GJ on your right. The campsite is located a short distance off the main road, so be prepared to navigate a smaller path.

• Public Transportation

  To reach Korosin Campsite using public transportation, start at the main bus station in Lake Baringo. Look for a matatu (shared taxi) heading towards Loruk. The fare is approximately 100-200 KES depending on the vehicle and distance. Inform the driver you want to stop at Loruk. Upon arrival in Loruk, you may need to hire a motorcycle taxi (boda boda) to take you the remaining 5 kilometers to Korosin Campsite. Expect to pay around 200-300 KES for the motorcycle ride. Keep an eye out for the sign indicating the campsite at M2FH+GJ.

• Walking

  If you prefer to walk from Loruk town to Korosin Campsite, head north from the Loruk market towards the main road. Follow the road for about 5 kilometers. While walking, be cautious of vehicle traffic and stay on the side of the road. Look for the sign for Korosin Campsite at M2FH+GJ. The walk will take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours, so plan accordingly and carry enough water.
