    If you are driving from Lake Bogoria, head south on the main road. Continue straight for about 10 kilometers until you reach the junction at the entrance of Lake Bogoria National Reserve. Turn left at the junction and follow the signs toward the Lake Solai area. After approximately 5 kilometers on this road, you will arrive at Lake Solai. Make sure to have your vehicle checked for any rough patches on the road, as some areas may be unpaved.

  • Public Transportation

    To reach Lake Solai using public transportation, first find a matatu (shared taxi) heading towards Marigat from Lake Bogoria. The matatus are usually located near the entrance of the national reserve. Once you're on the matatu, inform the driver that you want to get off at Lake Solai. The fare should be around 100-200 Kenyan Shillings. The journey takes approximately 30 minutes. After getting off, you may need to walk for about 1 kilometer to reach the lake itself, so wear comfortable shoes.
