Look for signs pointing towards Rusinga Island and follow the road leading to the ferry terminal.

To reach Rusinga Island Lodge using public transportation, first take a matatu (shared taxi) or bus from your location to Homa Bay. Upon arrival in Homa Bay, you can find matatus heading to Mbita. The ferry fare is approximately 100 KES per person. After crossing, you can hire a local taxi or walk to the lodge, which is located a short distance from the ferry landing.
