Car
If you are driving from Lamu Town, head southwest towards the Lamu Port area. Follow the coastal road, keeping the ocean on your left. After about 10 minutes, you will reach Shela. Look for signs indicating Shela Beach. Continue on the main road until you reach the intersection near the Shela Mosque. Turn left and follow the road until you see PW47+VH8 on your right. Jaha House is located in this area.
Public Transportation (Matatu)
To take a matatu (shared taxi) from Lamu Town to Shela, find the matatu station located near the Lamu Market. Board a matatu heading towards Shela. The fare is approximately 100 KES per person. The ride will take about 20 minutes. Once you arrive in Shela, ask the driver to drop you off near the Shela Mosque. From there, walk straight down the road and turn left at the intersection; Jaha House is located at PW47+VH8, a short walk from the mosque.
