Public Transportation (Matatu)

To reach Siyu Fort using public transportation, take a matatu from Lamu Town to Siyu Village. Matatus are small buses that depart regularly from the main taxi rank in Lamu. The fare is approximately 100 KES per person. The journey takes about 30 minutes. Bicycle

For a more adventurous route, consider renting a bicycle in Lamu Town. Cycle south along the coastal road towards Siyu Village.
