For a more local experience, consider taking a tuk-tuk from Lamu Town to Wiyoni Beach. Tuk-tuks are widely available and can be hired easily. Inform the driver that you want to go to Wiyoni Beach, and they will take you along the main road towards Mkomani. The ride will take about 15-20 minutes, depending on traffic, and the fare should be around 300-500 KES.
Bicycle
If you're feeling adventurous, renting a bicycle is a great way to get to Wiyoni Beach. Many rental shops in Lamu Town offer bicycles for about 500 KES per day. Public Transport (Matatu)
While there may not be a direct matatu route to Wiyoni Beach, you can take a matatu from Lamu Town to Mkomani. Look for matatus heading south near the main market.
