From your location in Loita Plains, head southeast on the main road (Loita Road) towards the Loita Forest. Continue on Loita Road for approximately 15 kilometers, keeping an eye out for the signs leading to the forest. Once you reach the T-junction, turn left onto the road signposted towards Loita Forest. Follow this road for about 5 kilometers until you reach the entrance to Loita Forest. Be prepared for some rough terrain as the last stretch may be unpaved.

To reach Loita Forest from Loita Plains using public transportation, you will first need to catch a matatu (shared taxi) heading towards Narok. You can find matatus at the main bus stop in Loita Plains. Once you board, inform the driver you want to be dropped off at the entrance to Loita Forest. The fare should be around 100-150 Kenyan Shillings. After about 20 minutes, you will reach a point near the entrance. From there, you may need to walk approximately 1 kilometer to reach the actual entrance of the forest.
