From the center of Loita Plains, head southeast on the main road (A2 highway) towards Ngong. After approximately 9 kilometers, keep an eye out for a sign indicating Loita Forest. Turn left onto a dirt road. Continue on this road for about 5 kilometers, passing through a few small villages. Be cautious as the road may be uneven. Follow signs for Loita Forest, and you will arrive at the entrance. Parking is available near the entrance.

Public Transportation
From Loita Plains, take a matatu (shared minibus) heading to Ngong from the main matatu stage. The fare is usually around 100 KES. Inform the driver you want to get off at the turn-off for Loita Forest. Once you reach the turn-off (after about 20 minutes), you will need to walk approximately 5 kilometers down the dirt road to reach the entrance of Loita Forest. It's advisable to ask locals for directions if you are unsure.

If you find yourself in the vicinity of the dirt road leading to Loita Forest, you can choose to walk. Starting from the main road in Loita Plains, head southeast for about 1 kilometer until you reach the dirt road. Turn left and follow the road for approximately 5 kilometers to the entrance of Loita Forest. Make sure to wear sturdy shoes and bring plenty of water, as the walk can be challenging due to the terrain.
