If you are driving from Narok, take the A104 highway towards Maasai Mara. After about 90 km, you will reach the Ololaimutiek gate. Pay the park entry fee, which is approximately $80 per person for non-residents (this fee may vary). After entering the park, follow the signs towards Mara Sopa Lodge, which is located about 20 km from the gate. The lodge is situated in Ololaimutiek Village.

To reach Mara Sopa Lodge using public transport, first take a matatu (shared taxi) from Nairobi to Narok. The fare is around $10 and the journey takes approximately 3-4 hours. Once in Narok, you can catch another matatu to the Ololaimutiek gate. Ensure to confirm with the driver that they will drop you off at the gate. The fare for this leg is about $5, and it takes approximately 1 hour. Upon reaching the Ololaimutiek gate, pay the park entry fee of approximately $80 per person for non-residents. From the gate, you will need to arrange for a taxi or a lodge shuttle to take you the remaining 20 km to Mara Sopa Lodge.
