Turn left onto the Mayungu Road. Follow Mayungu Road for about 3 kilometers. You will pass several shops and local eateries along the way. Keep an eye out for signs pointing towards Mayungu Fishermen's Village. After about 3 kilometers, you will arrive at Mayungu Fishermen's Village, located on the right side of the road. The village is known for its fishing activities and local seafood.

  • Bicycle

    If you are renting a bicycle, start from Malindi town center and head towards the coast on Lamu Road. After about 1 kilometer, turn left onto the Mayungu Road. This road is relatively quiet, making it safe for cycling. Continue for 3 kilometers, passing local shops and scenic views. When you see the signs for Mayungu Fishermen's Village, you are almost there. The village is situated on the right-hand side, right before the coast.

  • Public Transport (Matatu)

    To reach Mayungu Fishermen's Village using public transport, find a matatu (shared taxi) heading towards Mayungu. These matatus can be found at the central matatu station in Malindi. Board the matatu and inform the driver that you are going to Mayungu. The ride will take approximately 15 minutes, depending on traffic. The matatu will drop you off at the entrance of Mayungu Road. From there, it’s a short walk (about 10 minutes) down Mayungu Road to reach the Fishermen's Village.
