Getting There

    If you are in the center of Malindi, start at the Malindi Town Market. Head east on Lamu Road towards the Malindi Marine Park. Continue straight for about 1.5 kilometers until you reach the junction at the Malindi-Mombasa Road (A14). Cross the road and continue straight. You will see signs directing you towards the beach areas.

  • Bicycle

    From Malindi Town, rent a bicycle and head towards the coast. Ride along the main road towards the Malindi Marine Park, then take a left turn at the junction where you see the signs for Chui Beach. The ride is approximately 2 kilometers and takes you through beautiful scenery.

  • Tuk-tuk

    Find a tuk-tuk in the Malindi town center. Tell the driver you want to go to Chui Beach. The driver will take you directly to the beach, which is about 3 kilometers from the town center. The fare should be around 200-300 Kenyan Shillings.

  • Motorbike taxi (Boda Boda)

    Look for a boda boda stand in Malindi. You can negotiate a fare with the rider. Ask to be taken to Chui Beach. The ride is quick, around 15 minutes, and costs about 100-200 Kenyan Shillings.
