Malindi Explorer: City Tour & Mambrui Sand Dunes Adventure
Nice variety of activities
A nice mix of culture, nature, and adventure. You learn more about the culture in the museum and the oldest church in Kenya. The guide knows a lot. Visit the Falconry with interesting animals. And end the day in the beautiful sand dunes of Mambrui. Optionally, you can rent an ATV here for a fair price. It completes the day in an active way.

Gede Ruins and Robinson Island and Hells Kitchen Marafa Day Tour
Juma Made Our Kenya Experience Unforgettable!
We had the pleasure of having Juma as our driver during our stay in Watamu, Kenya, and we cannot recommend him highly enough. From the moment he picked us up at the airport until our departure, Juma was professional, reliable, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. He safely transported us to and from the airport and also took us on an unforgettable full-day tour of Marafa, Robinson Island, and Gedi Village. What truly set Juma apart was the wealth of information he shared throughout our journey. At every destination, he explained the history, culture, and significance of the area, helping us understand what to expect and making each stop even more meaningful. His insights about the local people and customs greatly enriched our experience. Juma also went above and beyond by assisting us with a food distribution effort for children in need. His guidance and local knowledge were invaluable in helping us navigate the process and ensure everything went smoothly. Beyond his excellent service, Juma's kindness and genuine care made a lasting impression on us. At the end of our trip, he told us that he would always remember us, and we can honestly say that we will always remember him as well. If you are visiting Malindi and need a trustworthy, knowledgeable, and caring driver and guide, Juma is the person to call. He helped make our trip truly special, and we are grateful for all his assistance and friendship.

Very pleasant and fun
The main attraction of the place is the monkeys and not the ruins which, I must say, are worth it anyway. Admission for Europeans costs 8 dollars, and the place is easily reachable from Watamu, even by tuk-tuk. Rely on a guide and buy bananas. Do not try to approach the monkeys because they can become a bit violent, let the guide handle it. The visit does not take a lot of time, so it is an excursion that can be combined with something else. The ruins are evocative and well-maintained. Some graffiti here and there, no particular protection. For everyone, the real attraction is the monkeys. I feel like recommending a visit, but, as usual, remember that by paying for the excursion you will only be transported there and have access to the site. You will be assigned a guide to whom you will in all likelihood have to leave an additional tip anyway.
