Car
If you are driving from Marsabit town, head west on the A2 highway towards Moyale. After approximately 15 kilometers, take the exit onto the C22 road, which is also marked for Choba. Continue on the C22 road for about 10 kilometers until you reach a fork. Take the right road at the fork for another 5 kilometers, and you will arrive at Marsabit Crater. Be cautious of the road conditions as some parts may be rough.

From Marsabit town, you can take a matatu (shared minibus) heading towards Moyale. Ask the conductor to drop you off at the C22 junction, which is approximately 15 kilometers from town. Once you alight, look for local boda-boda (motorcycle taxi) services that can take you the additional 10 kilometers to Marsabit Crater. Ensure to negotiate the fare beforehand, which typically ranges from 200 to 500 Kenyan Shillings depending on your negotiation skills and the distance.
