The fare is usually around 50-100 KES. Once on board, inform the conductor that you are going to Bamburi beach; they will let you know when to get off. The journey should take about 30 minutes depending on traffic. After you get off, walk towards the beach area; it will be visible from the main road.

If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from a local rental shop. Start from the city center and head towards Moi Avenue. Follow the road signs directing you to the north coast. Continue straight along Links Road, which leads directly to Bamburi beach. The distance is approximately 8 kilometers, so it should take around 30-45 minutes depending on your cycling speed. Look out for signs pointing to the beach as you approach.

If you are feeling adventurous and are staying relatively close, you can walk to Bamburi beach. Start from the city center and head north along Moi Avenue. Continue straight until you reach the junction with Links Road. Turn left onto Links Road and continue walking straight. It’s a long walk of about 8 kilometers, so make sure to stay hydrated and wear comfortable shoes. Follow the road until you see signs for Bamburi beach.
