Walking
From the center of Mombasa, head towards Moi Avenue. Walk straight until you reach the junction with Nkrumah Road. Turn left onto Nkrumah Road and walk until you reach the main bus terminal, which is also known as the 'Mombasa Terminus'. From there, you can take a matatu (shared minibus) heading to Kwale. Get off at the 'Kwale' stop (ask the driver as you board). Once you arrive in Kwale, Kongo Mosque is approximately a 15-minute walk from the drop-off point. Head south on the main road towards PHQX+W6G, follow the signs towards the mosque, and you will find it located near the Kongo River meeting the Indian Ocean.

Matatu
Start at the central bus station in Mombasa. Look for a matatu heading to Kwale. The fare is usually around 100-150 KES. When you reach Kwale, ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest stop for Kongo Mosque. From there, walk south for about 15 minutes down the main road. You will pass by local shops and small eateries. Keep an eye out for directional signs that will guide you to Kongo Mosque. The mosque is located near the beautiful delta where the Kongo River meets the Indian Ocean.

Bicycle Rental
If you prefer cycling, rent a bicycle from a shop in Mombasa city center. Start by heading down Moi Avenue toward Nkrumah Road. Continue on Nkrumah Road until you reach the bus terminal. From there, follow the main road towards Kwale on your bicycle. It’s about a 30-minute ride. Once you arrive in Kwale, park your bicycle safely and walk the remaining 15 minutes to Kongo Mosque, following the directions as mentioned previously.
