If you are driving to View Point, you will start from the nearest main road, which is the road heading towards Kaptama. From the park entrance, follow the signs to Kaptama. Once you reach Kaptama, look for the coordinates VQM5+2GV on your GPS or map application. The View Point is located a short distance from the main road. Park your vehicle safely at the designated area and proceed on foot to the viewpoint.

If you are using public transport, you can take a matatu (shared taxi) from Mbale to Kaptama. Once you arrive in Kaptama, you will need to hire a local boda boda (motorcycle taxi) to take you closer to View Point. Ensure you communicate the exact location using the coordinates VQM5+2GV to the boda boda rider. There may be a small fee for the ride, typically around 1,000 to 2,000 Kenyan Shillings, depending on the distance. Once you get dropped off, you may need to walk a short distance to reach the viewpoint.
