Car
From Mount Elgon National Park, drive towards the town of Kitale. Once in Kitale, continue on the Bungoma-Kitale Road until you reach the town of Bungoma. From Bungoma, follow the signs towards the Chwele Market. Continue on the Chwele-Misikhu Road until you reach the village of Kapsokwony. From Kapsokwony, follow the signs towards the trailhead of Mount Elgon. Park your car and begin the trek towards Mountain Elgon.

From Mount Elgon National Park, take a matatu (shared minibus) or bus towards the town of Kitale. Once in Kitale, transfer to another matatu or bus heading towards the town of Bungoma. From Bungoma, you can hire a boda boda (motorcycle taxi) or a taxi to take you to the village of Kapsokwony. From Kapsokwony, follow the signs towards the trailhead of Mount Elgon. Begin the trek towards Mountain Elgon.
