Car
If you're traveling by car, start your journey in Mount Kenya. Drive towards Nanyuki on the A2 road. After approximately 30 kilometers, turn onto the B5 road towards Oltulili. Continue for about 10 kilometers until you reach the coordinates X4FQ+9HH. You will find Mount Kenya Forest located nearby. Ensure your vehicle is suitable for rough terrain as some parts of the road may be unpaved.
Public Transportation
To reach Mount Kenya Forest using public transportation, head to the nearest bus station in Mount Kenya. Take a matatu (shared minibus) heading to Nanyuki. Once in Nanyuki, transfer to another matatu heading towards Oltulili. Inform the driver of your destination, Mount Kenya Forest, and they will drop you off at the closest point. From there, be prepared to walk a short distance to reach the forest area. Total cost for matatus is approximately 300-400 KES, depending on your location and transfers.
