If you are driving from Nanyuki, head southeast on the A2 highway towards Nyeri. Continue for approximately 50 kilometers until you reach the junction for the B5 road. Turn left onto the B5 and follow it for about 25 kilometers. Look for signs directing you to The Gates Fall (Nithi) and take the road leading towards V949+MHM. Park at the nearest designated parking area and prepare for a short hike to the falls.

From Nanyuki, you can take a matatu (shared taxi) heading to Nyeri. Inform the driver that you want to get off at the junction for the B5 road. The fare is approximately 100 KES. Once you reach the junction, you may need to hire a boda-boda (motorcycle taxi) for about 300 KES to take you closer to The Gates Fall (Nithi). Make sure to negotiate the price beforehand. The boda-boda will drop you off at the nearest point to the falls, from which you will need to hike a short distance.
