Car
If you're traveling by car, start from Mount Longonot National Park entrance. Head northwest on the main road towards Naivasha. Continue on the road for approximately 15 km. As you approach Naivasha, look for Biashara Naivasha Road on your right. Turn right onto Biashara Naivasha Road and follow the signs to Crescent Island. There may be a small parking fee, so keep some cash handy. Upon arrival, you will need to pay an entry fee to access the island.
Public Transportation
To reach Crescent Island via public transportation, take a matatu (shared taxi) from Mount Longonot to Naivasha town. The ride should take around 30 minutes and cost approximately 50 KES. Once you arrive in Naivasha, ask the matatu driver to drop you near Biashara Naivasha Road. From there, you can either walk (around 20 minutes) or hire a taxi to take you directly to Crescent Island. Make sure to confirm the taxi fare beforehand. Upon arrival, there is an entrance fee to be paid for accessing the island.
