Once you reach the park entrance, pay the entrance fee (approximately 500 KES for Kenyan citizens and 1,000 KES for non-residents). After entering the park, follow the main road until you reach the designated parking area. From here, you can start your hike towards Lake View Cliff.

To reach Mount Longonot using public transportation, take a matatu (shared taxi) from Nairobi to Naivasha. The fare is typically around 300-400 KES. Once in Naivasha, you can take another matatu to the Mount Longonot gate, which may cost an additional 100-150 KES. After arriving at the gate, you will need to pay the entrance fee to the park (500 KES for Kenyan citizens and 1,000 KES for non-residents). From the entrance, follow the trail leading to Lake View Cliff, which is a popular hiking spot.
