If you have a private car, start from Mount Longonot National Park entrance. Head southeast on the main road towards Naivasha for about 10 km until you reach the junction for Mukeu. Turn left onto the road leading to Mukeu. Continue for approximately 5 km, following the signs for Lari Kioni Forest. The coordinates for the forest are approximately -0.9215327 latitude and 36.6044109 longitude. Look for a small dirt road on your right that leads into the forest area.

Public Transport
To reach Lari Kioni Forest via public transportation, start at the Mount Longonot town center. Take a matatu (shared taxi) heading towards Naivasha. Inform the driver you want to stop at Mukeu. The fare is typically around 100-150 KES. After about 20-30 minutes, get off at Mukeu. From there, you can hire a boda boda (motorcycle taxi) to take you to Lari Kioni Forest. The fare for the boda boda should be around 200-300 KES. Make sure to agree on the fare beforehand.
