If you are driving from the center of Mount Longonot, head northwest on the main road (Nairobi-Nakuru road). Continue for about 10 kilometers. Watch for the Nakuru County Entry/Exit Signboard, which will be on your right side as you approach the border of Nakuru County. There is no entrance fee to view the signboard.

To reach the Nakuru County Entry/Exit Signboard using public transport, start by taking a matatu (local minibus) from Mount Longonot to Nakuru town. The fare is approximately 100 KES (Kenyan Shillings). Once you arrive in Nakuru town, look for another matatu heading towards Longonot. This will take you closer to the signboard. It is about a 15-minute ride. You may need to inform the driver to drop you off near the Nakuru County Entry/Exit Signboard. There is no fee at the signboard itself.
