Getting There

  • Car

    If you are traveling by car, start your journey from the Mount Longonot National Park entrance. Head southeast on the main road towards Gilgil. After approximately 5 kilometers, you will reach a junction. Turn left onto the road marked towards Sulmac Village. Continue for about 3 kilometers until you see signs for Second Valley Viewpoint. The viewpoint is located at coordinates 38J3+2F, Sulmac Village. Parking is available near the viewpoint, and there may be a small entrance fee to the park.

    For those using public transport, take a matatu (shared taxi) from Longonot town heading towards Gilgil. Inform the driver that you are heading to Sulmac Village.
