Walking
If you're starting from the Nairobi Railway Station, exit the station and head towards Uhuru Highway. Cross over to Uhuru Park, and then walk along the park's perimeter towards the city center. Continue walking straight until you reach the junction at Uhuru Highway and Haile Selassie Avenue. From there, turn left onto Haile Selassie Avenue and continue straight until you reach City Square. The Kenyatta International Convention Centre will be on your right, along Harambee Avenue.

To reach the Kenyatta International Convention Centre from the Westlands area, take a matatu heading to the city center (look for a matatu with 'CBD' or 'Town' labeled). Get off at the Kencom bus stop, which is a major junction in the city center. From Kencom, walk towards Uhuru Highway, then take a short walk to City Square. The convention center will be along Harambee Avenue, just a few minutes from Kencom.
