If you are starting from the Kenyatta International Conference Centre (KICC), head east on Uhuru Highway. Cross the road at the traffic lights and continue straight for about 500 meters until you reach Moi Avenue. Turn left onto Moi Avenue, and after about 300 meters, you will find the National Archives on your right, at number 30.

To get to the National Archives from Nairobi Railway Station, walk to the nearby matatu stage. Look for matatus heading towards the city center (you can take matatu number 36 or 34). After a short ride of about 10-15 minutes, ask the conductor to drop you at the National Archives stop. Once you get off, the National Archives will be a short walk down Moi Avenue, on your left at number 30.
