Matatus
From the Nairobi city center, locate the matatu stage at Kencom. Take a matatu heading to Naivasha or Nakuru. Inform the conductor that you want to stop at the Great Rift Valley View Point. The journey will take about 1.5 to 2 hours. Once you reach the view point, look for signs indicating the entrance. The location is marked as WH6M+VCG, B 3 and is a popular stopping point for tourists.

Boda Bodas
If you prefer a quicker option, you can hire a boda boda (motorcycle taxi). Head to a nearby boda boda stage, which you can find easily around the city center. Negotiate the fare to the Great Rift Valley View Point, which should be around 1,000 to 1,500 Kenyan Shillings. The ride will take approximately 1 to 1.5 hours depending on traffic. Ensure you wear a helmet, which is usually provided by the rider.

From Nairobi, you can take a public bus from the main bus station (Nairobi Central Bus Station) that goes to Naivasha. Ask the ticket seller for the bus heading towards Naivasha and mention that you want to stop at the Great Rift Valley View Point. The bus ride will take about 2 hours. Once you reach the view point, look for the entrance marked WH6M+VCG, B 3.
